MTD Snow Blower

I have an MTD Snow Flite 5/20, model number 318-230 B. I am trying to find out where to put the engine oil, or can I just mix it in with the gas?

Please post the MFG, Model, Type, Code, etc. numbers usually found on the engine shroud. If it is a 4-cycle it has a crankcase and the oil goes there, if it is a 2-cycle the oil and gas are mixed together, however, if it is a 2-cycle there are different ratios of oil to gas and you need oil designed for 2-cycle engines. That is it is why it is necessary to know who makes the engine and which model it is. Have a good one. Geo

What Geo meant was the model and serial numbers from the engine itself, not the model of the blower. The model of the blower itself doesnt tell us which engine you have.
