find model of homelite chainsaw

find model of homelite chainsaw

i have a 16' homelite chainsaw, that a friend gave to me. the saw looks very good .. i cant find the model # of the saw..i suppose maybe a decal came off which had the model # on it..is there another place besides the outside casing that one might find such Thanks

Only one place on all Homelite's that you will find the model number, which is labeled as the "UT" number. It will generally be a chrome colored sticker and if it's missing you may get by, by knowing the series chainsaw. Do you know the age and series of the saw?

The unit's series will be on the side cover containing the rope starter.
