Honda 928 snowthrower wiring

Hello, my puppy chewed through some wires on the right side of the engine, just in front of the pull-start housing. I see the ends of two red wires coming out of the engine casing and the wire leading to the headlight.

I'm guessing these red wires supply voltage to the headlight, but I'm not sure if they were connected together or should be kept separate.

There is enough wire left out of the engine that I can solder on extensions and get some heat shrink over them.

Which HS928 do you have? Wiring is different on different models, some have a battery and DC starter, some have AC start, etc.

I have a tracked HS928 with DC starter, it has a battery so wiring may or may not be the same as yours...

I have the tracked HS928TA...the motor has GX270-270cm3 on the side.

No electric start at all. Originally had no electric anything on this model but I added the light kit myself.

OK I'll have a close look at the wiring when I get home and report back.
