MTD Snowflite 5/20 help needed

Hi again, I just picked this machine up today and I am looking for the info on it.

Machine #s 310-430-1 G112B
Engine # - HS50 67174C Serial # 9138B

Looks like it needs new belts, carb work, wiring repair, and a new spring for the drive clutch return. Along with a new pull start recoil assembly. Any one either have some good info on these or a place where I can get the info I am seeking?

You're probably more interested in the machine, but the engine info... enter 67174C at:
http://www.landscapepower.com/tecumseh_partslists.html
then enter carb 632107 at:
http://www3.sears.com/
for breakkdown and repair kit part #
hope this helps,
thanks,

Well I still cant find any parts that are what I need. The model # is 310-430-105 G129B. It IS called the throttle control switch but I cant find one. I am going to the local shop today for carb parts (LOST THE NEEDLE) and I will ask them but anyone else have any ideas? Can I rig this to work?

Looks like the main thig it does is shut the snowblower off really. There doesnt seem to be a way the resistance would vary from movement but maybe.

Found it. I guess I should just go there from now on, nothing going on here. What happened to everyone?

mtd has a website to get a manual

PDF Manual Web Archive

you'll be asked to enter your model number (like 310-430) and then your serial number (like G092B). The manual has parts diagrams and parts lists in it. Then you can take your part numbers to one of the sites for replacement parts:
MTD Products Landing Page
or
MTD Snowblower Parts and Snow Thrower Parts
Good luck!
