I would first remove the bar and chain and, using compressed air, blow the bar clean, i.e., starting at the nose go down the rails on each side, then blow the debris out the holes on side of bar where the oil enters from the case. Thoroughly clean the case that is adjacent to the bar when it’s installed, I use an old shopvac. The case will have a shallow well with the oil exit hole adjacent to the bar hole when the bar's installed. Check the oil exit hole from the case to make sure it's not clogged. This is normal maintenance that should be done several times a season anyway.
Now, thoroughly drain oil reservoir, fill ¼ full with gas mix, let sit a few minutes, slosh and drain. Refill oil reservoir with oil, start engine with out bar. If it doesn’t emit oil, then the oil filter may be clogged or, the oil pump is not pumping.
Hope this helps,
Let us know,
Thanks,
