removing auger belt from craftsman snowblower

MY 9 HP craftsman snowblower stopped throwing the snow. I started to smell the belt buring.
Does anyone have DIY steps or pics on how to gain access and remove the auger belt. I can't seem to locate my manual.
Thanks in advance
Fab

Without any model # I'm just guessing that it's the same as the one I have in the garage. Remove the belt cover. Loosten the 2 bolts @ the bottom rear of the collector & remove the 2 top ones. Squeeze the auger handle to relese the brake & fold the machine open while pulling the auger belt off the pullys. You may need to loosten the belt fingers on the engine first. Repeat to install but remember to be sure the belt is under the auger brake, & adjust the belt fingers when done.... If this doesn't make sence, post model & serial # & the pros will guide you thru it.. Thanks, Roger
