Model #-20444

I haven't had any issues with this mower, EVER. Now it won't crank.
It won't even try to turn over. Can someone please help?

If it won't turn over by pulling the rope remove the spark plug and put the end of the plug wire in a position AWAY from any metal object and try pulling again.

The carb could have flooded fuel into the cylinder and hydro locked the engine. If this is the case the carb should be removed cleaned and a new float valve installed.

Make sure the engine brake cable is connected to the bail at the top of the handle and also connected to the brake lever on the engine. Maybe the brake is not being released when you pull on the lever and this is why you cannot pull the rope to start the engine. Also check under the mower deck for any obstruction to the mower blade (be sure to disconnect the spark plug when you do this)
