Piece of light sheet metal--wrap around break & pop rivet it.
Don't waste money on welding for an S-200.
or a piece of wood dowling-jamb broken pieces over it & put screws thru metal to wood. Lots of good Rube Goldberg ideas.......................

I took my S-200 apart last week--hope your family has a good set of ear plugs.
If you have to take off back panel, take careful note of how it goes back together. Also, remove screw holding carb. cable to back panel-try not to take cable off carb.
It's a good idea to put masking tape around screws & bolts
showing location of same.
I know you will enjoy......................

It's called a recoil starter cord
Plus the fact my unit is about 29 years old & is almost as tired as I am
By the way, when I shut down my PC, I get all these stupid screens saying this or that-I have to click OK-- doesn't bother PC, just me...........
