Weedeater WT 3100

I have a Weedeater WT3100 trimmer that has been in storage. The fuel lines are rotten. Can I replace them or do I need to purchase a whole new tank assembly?

Yes you can replace the fuel lines only.If you can need to take a piece to get the correct size, fuel line come in different sizes.Since it has set up ,you would be better off and do a overhaul on the carb. And get a new fuel filter.

The lines are threaded through the tank assembly. How do I get them out and back in place?

Thanks Mike

Just pull them out, then cut the end of the new ones on an angle and feed them through the holes back into the tank. The supply line should be the longest, and you can feed it all the way out the filler neck, put the filter on the end, and pull it back into the tank...leaving enough so that it can lay on the bottom of the tank no matter which way you tilt the engine.
