How is the oil? Too full? Smell like gas? Does it smoke heavily at idle? Did this begin to happen over a long period of time, gradually becoming worse...or did it happen over a relatively short amount of time? If it was over a short amount of time, the oil level and condition are ok, I would suggest a blown head gasket. If the oil is thin and smells like gas, then the carb needs repair.

The carburetor just needs to be cleaned and the needle needs to be replaced. Then drain the gassy oil out of it, refill with SAE 30, and you should be set.

I can provide you with the rebuild kit part number if you post back with the following: Code number of the engine; And, whether the carburetor is a Niki (two screws holding the bowl on) or a Walbro (single center bolt holding the bowl on).
