Lawn Tractor Jack/Lift

I have a Snapper 2354 Lawn Tractor. I need to sharpen the blades. I would prefer to do it without removing the deck. I have always used a floor jack and jack stands however I was wondering how other folks raise their lawn tractors to work on them.

I usually do the floor jack/jackstands thing too. You can also use a chain hoist or come-along from a strong overhead support.

Anytime.

I'm sure I don't have to mention to be positive that the overhead structure is unquestionably strong enough to withstand the weight of the mower if using the hoist/come-along method. Sure as I don't say that, somebody somewhere will pull a rafter down out of their garage.
