John deere L 120 won't start
I have a John Deere L 120. When I stored it for the winter it was running fine. I charged the battery and the lights come on but when I turn the key it will not turn over. I jumped the starter and it started to run only with the choke on and it was running fast and then slowed down and it kept doing this for a while. Has anyone experienced this before. Thks

How did you jump the starter? Across the solenoid posts or with a set of jumper cables? From a different battery or from the mower battery?
The running fast and slow is caused by a fuel restriction in the carburetor. It needs to be cleaned out.
