Riding Mower Drive Wheel stuck

I have a Sears Riding Mower and its got a flat, but I can't get the wheel off. I removed the C spring clamp, and the washer behind it, and have sprayed it for three days with WD40, but it still won't budge, and I'm afraid to pound on it with a hammer, any suggestions.

Is it a rear tire?
It may have a square key holding tire to axle.
Call your local repair guy & see if he will advise you...........

They can be hard to get off. I usually use an impact hammer, but you likely don't have that convenience. You might be time and sweat ahead by taking it by a shop and letting them use an impact hammer to drive it off the axle. I have had some stuck so badly that I had to cut them off.
