gas line leak-generator

gas line leak-generator

i have a generac wheelhouse 5550 portable generator. the gas line where it goes it to the gas tank(plastic) is leaking. does anyone have any suggestions? it leaks on top of the engine.

Can you determine if it's the line or the tank leaking. If the line, maybe it only needs a clamp or the line is rotton & replacing the line &clamps will fix you up. If the tank is leaking, In the intrest if safety, Replace the tank & also the lines & clamps,,,,Roger

There is a rubber grommet where the fitting goes into the tank. This needs to be replaced.
