Installing driveshaft on Cub Cadet 2140 HELP

Can anyone give me some advice on how to install a new driveshaft on my Cub Cadet. I have the shaft and short of disassembling the entire machine how do you get the shaft back in place and manage to keep the rubber pieces in????? The fan is still attached and I thought you could put the rubber bearings in and then slide it in place. The angle is wrong and you can not get one end up and have room to move it the other way. Also tried starting from the front no luck there either. Any tips and advice greatly appreciated.

Sounds to me like al you need to do is remove the 4 engine mounting bolts to let it move back enough to get the shaft in.
