oil light on

my oil light comes on only when i engage blades. How do i check oil pressure? I had valve cover off and ran engine a few minutes oil apprently getting up there as oil was running out.

What are you working on,, Techumseh, Briggs, kubota, tractor, zero turn, the options are endless. Give the pros engine numbers & unit make & model & they can help you out<<<< Roger

Use an oil pressure guage and check the pressure. Screw it into the port where the oil pressure switch is.

I have a briggs 28p777-q644a1-970404zd.Oil light only comes on when i engage blades. Thanks
