Excell Pressure Washer shooting h2o from top of pump

I have a Excell pressure washer (XR2625) with a Honda Engine. It starts fine, but water shoots out of the plastic "cone" on top of the pump. I'm quite sure it didn't do that before. Pressure isn't as good as it should be as a result. Does anyone know why the water is coming out of that cone?

Thanks in advance,

That pump is a chinese disposable pump built for a service life of 50 hours. I don't think parts are easily obtained for it. It sounds like it's coming out of the pressure safety valve, but not sure.
