string trimmer carb adjustment
I have two trimmers, a Ryobi 700r and a Poulan Weedeater SST25. On each, they try to keep you from getting to the two carb adjustment screws, which I have overcome. After all, I bought them, and if I want to do my own adjustments, I should be able to. My question is which is the high and low on each? The Ryobi has a red plastic covering, and a clear. The red is farthest from the cylinder, and I think this is the high. The two on the Weedeater are side by side, parallel to the cylinder.

Thanks, Cheese. I have done the Weedeater, and found that to be the case. By the way, I just bought it factory reconditioned from Northern Tool. You would not believe how badly out of adjustment the two adjustment screws were.
