John Deere L119

My Grandaddy is having lawn mower problems. We think a safety switch is out on his riding lawnmower and it will not start. Does anyone know how many safety switches it has and where they are located and how to tell which one is the problem. We know about the one on the seat that requires pressure on it for the lawn mower to run. I was also told there might be one on the brake. Thanks for the help. We need to figure this out. He is 88 and it is driving him crazy so he is letting us know about it.....

Should have switches for the seat, brake pedal, and PTO lever.
Does it act stone cold or does it try to start. If no sounds when the key is in the start position, my first spot to check would be the battery.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I found the problem. The kill/saftey switch on the break petal had come loose and was not pushing the button in. I was lucky it was a easy fix by putting the switch back where it belongs.
