Sears Ancient Rototiller IPB for 1980something

I am trying to bailout a friend who has a problem with an old Sears Rototiller (model # UK at this time). He says the clutch will work in reverse and neutral only. I need a parts breakdown to "see" the problem area. Cannot find one on line. Any help?

It is almost impossible to get anything without some numbers.
Sears has used many manufacturers with hundreds of different models. If you could find any part numbers, on a belt, trans
case, cable, etc., we might have something to go on.
The numbers off of the engine may help also.

Work backwards from this.

I've seen another guy on this forum do this the right way.

model # UK is not a sears model number. Describe the tiller, e.g. front or rear tine, engine make and model number, horsepower. The model number will likely begin with 785. or 917.

Also, look on the engine for model number.

I know that the clutch function on most of the older models mechanically worked the same, that is, the mechanical shifting parts performed the same function - but are (possibly) physically different. I need the Illustrated Parts Breakdown diagram to "see" what parts he is talking about.

Sincere thanks to WDIBAA for the sears link - but without a model number I can't use it.

If anyone could give me a few model numbers to go with I might be able to get a glimpse of the mechanical functions of the clutch and understand what parts he is talking about. The problem, I believe, is a simple one, however, not seeing the parts function or not having a diagram isn't.
Thanks for Listening
