singer GTE 2818 weedeater

singer GTE 2818 weedeater

The weed eater will start and only run for a few seconds. The sparkplug and diaphrams have been replaced. The weed eater acts like the fuel is being shut off. What should I try next?

Good Morning WAlexan4

Try cranking your weedeater with the gas cap lose.These caps has a vent hole in them to pressureize the fuel tank,If these tanks doesn't keep air in them,they wont stay running.

If it runs good then,buy a new fuel cap.
