Yazoo Rider transaxle oil/grease

What is the proper transaxle/transmission oil/grease type and weight for an early 1970`s Yazoo Riding Mower 16 horse?

What type of transmission does it have. the Hi - Lo forward and reverse type or is it a hydro. I am not sure about the Hydro but the old gear drive HI - LO used 30 wt motor oil.

If it is like the model I remember, it is about the same as
a Snapper rear engine rider, so Snapper 00 Grease would be needed.

Just reread the 16 horse detail, so the Snapper grease would not apply, do you
have a model number??

Thanks AA and Fisher

This is a very old machine I take care of for a friend and I see no markings on it for reference. It is the HI-LO so I will bet on the 30 wt oil. Many thanks!!!

I would also like to add that the transmission I am referring to has two large round discs on the top that are held down with clamp arm on each one. Removing the discs allows access to add fluid to the transmission and to adjust the clutches.
