Trasmission gear oil

I have a Toro 44 commercial walk behind, what type of gear oil does it take?

If you can provide a model and serial number, I can look that info up for you. Want to be sure the info is accurate.

30112 is the model for the tractor and shows to have a peerless 700 series transmission. This unit does not use gear oil but rather grease I think it's called bentonite, but I am not sure. It comes in a squeeze tube and is available from most Tecumseh small engine dealers, the part number is 788067C and costs around $13.00 or so a tube. One tube is enough for a transmission.
