MuCulloch MAC 160S Removing Chain

I have a McCulloch MAC 160S chain saw that I need to remove to replace the chain.
There seems to be nuts, screws and bolts on the side away from the chain, but there doesn't seem a way to access removal of the chain........I could use some assistance.
Thank you

There should be 2 nuts holding the cover on the side with the chain. Take them off and the cover off and the bar and chain will be loose.

Looking at the parts illustration here:

To get the chain off, you'll need to remove the cover (item 3, chain brake assembly) from the right-hand side of the saw. Then slide the bar all the way back. The chain should be loose enough to come off the bar and around the clutch.

Make sure the brake is not applied as you will not get the cover off easily and if you do manage to get it off it will not go back on until you release the brake. The brake is released by pulling the handle towards the unit.
