horse power = how many cc's ??????

hello. what is the formula for converting hp to cc,s ? for example i want to figure out what is the horse power on a 70 cc engine. thanks

If only it were that simple. Displacement is only one factor that affects the amount of power an engine produces. Your engine can make different amounts of power depending on; fuel, carburation, rpm, ignition timing, cam profile, valve size, exhaust design, smoothness of the intake and exhaust passages, weather...

For instance, the 3.5L Honda Indy car engines put out roughly 750HP, about three times the HP of the same size engine in a Honda Accord.


Measure it with a micrometer; cut it with an ax.

And a LOT depends on how long you want it to reliably produce that amount of power.
