Murray Wheel/Tire Removal

I have a 94 Murray riding mower and I need to remove the rear wheel/tire but I am having problems and hope someone may be able to help. I have removed the rubber cover, clip, and washer but it still won't budge. Can you tell me if there is something more I need to remove in order to get the wheel off? Thanks!

It shoul slide off the axle after removing what you removed. Soak it with PBlaster or a good penetrating oil. I've had some that were really stubborn and I had to remove the tire from the rim while it was still on the mower. You can tap, pry, and bump to get it off, but don't go ape on it or you'll wind up popping the whole axle out of the tranny and that requires transaxle disassembly to remedy.
