Question Troy-bilt Bronco Leaves A Mohawk!

I bought a new Troy-Bilt Bronco in June 2008. I noticed that it has started to leave a path of uncut grass in its wake right about where each of the twin blades meet. This causes me to have to make a second pass in order to cut that leftover grass.

I called Troy-Bilt and Lowe's where I bought and no one knows the cause. My lawn is on the small side, flat, and I did not hit anything. I bought the factory mulching attachment when I bought the tractor and have had no problems at all up until now.

Would anybody have any idea what might be causing the mower to leave a small "mohawk" in its wake. Any ideas???
Thanks for any help!

Make sure the underside of the deck is completely clean.

Smile No more Mohawk

GlenM,

Thank you. I did that and there was marked improvement. There was a bunch of grass caked in there. Once I got rid of it, things got a lot better. Thanks again.

Good. Having a clean deck and, especially, ensuring all tires have equal air pressure, usually 10-12 psi, will solve a lot of uneven cut problems.
Thanks,
