2 cycle engine overheating

2 cycle engine overheating

after 30 minutes run time, 2 cycle engine overheats and will not restart. Has been cleaned outside.

Take your muffler off,and check your exhaust ports for carbon built up,and clean your spark arrester screen and muffler.Hope this helps.

Hot start problems with a two stroke are usually the first sign of the coil wearing out. Next time it cuts out, test the spark immediately.

could be too lean of a mixture.
