Tecumseh 3.5 HP engine carburetor leaking gas

I bought this engine and it wasnt running,I clean the carb. including the little holes with a needle I found the reason it was not running when I bought it was the fuel adjustment was closed so it wasn't getting any gas. So I opened the adjustment screw played with it a while and got it running which was great but when I turned the engine off it leaks gas out the front of the air filter. I was thinking i need a new Inlet Needle and Seat. Is this wrong or right what do you guys think?

Are you sure it is a diaphram carb? Post the engine model and type so we can see what carb you have on there.

I think you may be on the right track, but there is also a possibility that the diaphragm may also need replacement, and could also be the cause of flooding. Model and Spec number from engine would be helpful.
