Chainsaw stalls

I have an inexpensive Poulan Chainsaw that starts up and idles fine but it stalls out everytime I rev it up to make a cut. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It may be a problem with the carburetor, fuel lines, fuel filter, or possibly an air leak.

What model chain saw is it???

Try backing out the high speed mixture screw 1/4 to 1/2 turn and see if it runs right. If not, then time to clean the carb and possibly more as mentioned.
