Honda mower starting problem

I have a honda harmony model hrz216tda. When start the engine it will run normally for 15-20 seconds then dies. Another pull on the cord and it runs for 15-20 seconds then dies. Repeat another 5 or so times and it will run fine. So far I have cleaned all fuel lines, removed and cleaned carb and blew out jets and internal pathways, although it looked perfect before I started. After reinstalling it does the same thing. Did not replace gaskets or seals nor did I soak in carb cleaner. Not to influence any suggestions but it seems to me that it has something to do with the engine getting warmed up but so far I can't figure out the connection, if any, to my problem.

Is the choke closing all the way when the throttle is in the choke position? I would also check the plug gap to make sure its correct.
