John Deere LT 155 - Auto Trans noise

Tranny is making a wining noise. Is there a way to service, i.e. change the fluid. It is approx a 2000 model and have not done any service on it, can't find in manual where it mentions to service it.

I don't think the tranny in the LT mowers is serviceable. There may be a vent or other area where you can add some fluid though, if needed. Gain some visibility to it (if the battery is under the seat, remove it and the battery box to see the tranny better) and see if there is a place to add fluid.

Also clean the top of the tranny well. There are cooling fins on it that will clog with grass and overheat the unit, causing cavitation and whine.
