Honda OHV mower engine won't start w/o manual prime
I have a Honda GCV-160 (5.5 hp) engine on my Husqvarna lawnmower, and it won't prime itself. It has the non-adjustable throttle, so the dead man lever is the only on/off. Has an automatic choke (choke it, and a spring pulls it slowly back)
If you drip gas into the cylinder and fire it off, it'll draw more fuel and run like a top. But, if you let it sit a while, you'll have to manually prime it again.
Any ideas?

I would visually inspect the choke plate to see if it is closing all the way when the choke is engaged, also the age of the fuel you are using can be a factor with hard starting.
