Lightweight gas chainsaw like trimmers use

Where can you find a light weight chainsaw like the ones tree trimmers have straped to their belts when climbing to trim a tree limbs?
Only ones I have found at hardware stores or internet all are
much bulkier than the ones Ive seen pros use. Smallest ones
I can find are 14" & are as heavy as 16".
I dont want a pole saw or electric just a lightweight gaser.

Might be a little specialized for a hardware or Box store. Pretty much a Pro thing, as you indicated. See if you have a Dealer around who carries Echo, Stihl or, Husqvarna. Be prepared for a little sticker shock, just cause they're smaller doesn't mean they're cheaper by much.

Heres a link I found after a bit of looking....

The smaller Echo brand chainsaw's will probably be about the best bang for the buck in the smaller sizes. You can get "bucket" saws from Stihl, Shindaiwa, Redmax etc.. but they can be quite expensive.

echo 300 series. i think it's a 360 now. about 280.00.
it's a top handle saw and great for limbing.
go for the 14" bar for better balance.
i've been using an old 3000 for about four years now.
