Air Filter-Crafstman Blower Model 360.796900

I have a craftsman back pack air blower - model #360.796900 (3.4 HP) 2 cycle gas engine. I wanted to replace the air filter since it is getting disintegrated. Sears say that they have to order it from the manufacturer and the price will be around $21 including shipping and handlng. It is a piece of foram 1" thick and 4.5" S square.

Any idea of an alternative part?

From my limited research it seems you have a Solo Blower the sites below will give you more info, from the IPL the only filter I see listed is $5.35. However I maybe be looking at the wrong stuff, check the links below. Have a good one. Geo

If I am looking at the correct part, which has the same part number from the posted links, Sears shows the air filter for the same price. I can't imagine that shipping would be over $15.00, but then it would not be the first time I was surprised.

I had no idea Sears sold a backpack blower of that size (3.4HP). How well does it work for you? Any idea of the CFM ratings? Later!
