Unhappy Toro Gas trimmer - no spark

This has been a problem from Day 1 - Last technician said
it was bad gas - it is NOT bad gas. Ran briefly and then,
again, no spark. It is NOT the spark plug. It has hardly been
run since it was bought at Lowe's; but waited too long to return it. Have no idea what to check at this point. Thanks
for any help. Art
Toro Model #51972 which I cannot find on the useless Toro
website

This trimmer was made for Toro by Homelite. You can see the IPL at the Homelite website.

If you are looking for the ignition module the Homelite part number is :

290178003 COIL & BOOT ASSEMBLY

and shows to sell for $20.50
