Murray Gearbox Oil

I have a Murray, Mod # 42536X92A. I recently replaced the belts and noticed a plug on the topside of the gearbox. The box is supposed to be permanently lubed, I think. This mower is over 10 years old. Should I replace the oil and if so, with what?

Look closely at your transaxle to identify the make and model. This is the only way to determine the requirements of your transaxle.
