need your help

hello guys i just bought a used snowblower it a craftsman 6hp 25inch cut it has no spark and i need to fix the Recoil Starter or need to buy a new one. But my problem is i cant find what type of engine it is it still the factory one it came with and its about 20 years old. im haveing such a hard time trying to get parts for it. if someone can help me out that will be awesome. And is there a comon problem why im getting no spark the model # is c 459 52254

Probably a tecumseh engine. Depending on the engine, it may have points ignition and the points & condenser may need replacing.

thanks for the info just wondering if anyone else has a blower like mine so i know where to get parts
