i need help disassembling a coleman powermate generator

i bought this generator thinking that the generator part would detatch from the motor because i want to use the motor on my minibike or build a gocart but after exposing the shaft i cant figure out how to take of the part of the generator that spins on the shaft between the coils of copper on the outside i am not very experienced with engines and i hope i dont sound too ignorant any help would be great thanks, josh.

If the generator 'Rotor" is junk just loosen/remove the long center bolt then smack the side of it with a good sized hammer, This will pop it loose from the crankshaft.

But, Your going to find a tapered crankshaft in that engine and no way to install a centrifugal clutch for what you want to put it on.
