how to ID Homelite saw?

I have a little Homelite XL2 Automatic chainsaw. I can't tell which model it is because the decal label is missing. Any ideas on how I can identify which model it is ? Thanks

You might have luck contacting the folks at Homelite at Homelite :: Chain Saws

Explain that the Data Plate is missing. They may have suggestions for other ways of identifying the product.

The product is beyond the standard two-year warranty. Parts are likely available if you can determine the model number.
