wireing help

hello i got a older craftsman blower model 143 726 112 i have a wire that goes from the key switch to a plate that is by the carb. well my key swith i broke is there any way to bypass that key switch. thanks for any help.

it might just be a kill switch. disconnect the wire to run, ground it to kill the motor.
