AYP/Poulan/Hydro Gear

I rebuilt my transaxle Mod. #150071.
How much gear lube and what type do I need to fill this unit?

Use 20w-50 oil in the pump. I suggest using synthetic. I believe it will hold just over 2 quarts if I remember right. Use "00" grease in the gearcase. It should be available at a lawnmower repair shop.

Here's a manual: http://www.odref.com/pdf/Hydrogear/150071.pdf

Hi Cheese,
I only replaced the ring gear and cleaned out the old gear lube. Is there a way to check lube level in the differential?
