oil in top of engine

Hello,
I have a spare twin cyl. Briggs motor that had tipped over when it was stored in my shed. The oil ran into the upper part of the motor and needless to say it now smokes like a fog machine and won't stay running. Other then replacing the plugs what else can I do to clean out the cylinders without harming anything internally?
Thanks

If it will run, run it until the smoke clears. May take a few minutes, but it will burn off. If it's too much oil for it to run, then remove the plugs, crank the engine, and let it blow the oil out the plug holes.
