sears snowblower choke stuck

I have a sears snowblower model # 536.881800 purchased it new 4 years ago.I was using it last night fine, when I went to go from reverse to drive it wouldn'engage. I could hear the clutch moving but nothing happened. The cable was loose.Please help we are expecting more snow tomorrow

My knowledge of snow blowers is limited but in the interim until someone, more knowledgeable posts I suggest you look at the owner’s manual. The manual details various adjustments.

You need to tighten the cable. At the bottom of the cable, where the spring is, there is a nut inside the spring. Tighten this nut just enough to make the cable taught with a little slack.
