carb question

Ok i didn't want to start another thread just to ask this but sense one member got confused in another thread of mine because it was about a briggs hence why i said changing topic for a 2nd.

anyway I have a tecumseh engine model. 143.646202 the carb says SERVICE carb and its part number TEC-631954 .

do I have to transfer parts. seams when they say service carb you have to and i do not want to do that again sense i bad luck with the last one i had to change parts on.

Yes, you will have to transfer linkage and choke pieces. I think the 631954 service carburetor does not include the fuel fitting either. You will need a new fuel fitting.
