Replacing a motor on an Ariens st824 snowblower

Hi everyone,

I need to replace a motor on an Ariens st824 snowblower but have never done any engine replacement. I found the correct engine at small engine warehouse and will get the sleeve for it as well. What I need to know is if there are any tips out there for doing this. I own a tree service and I'm working on chainsaws and lawn mowers all the time, I just never have replaced an engine. It doesn't look very complicated is it? Any comments will be appreciated. Beer 4U2

snowblower engine replacement is easy. as long as you got the tecumseh engine size that came off it, it is just remove the belts, unbolt the 4 bolts that mounts it to the snowblower, and if equipped un-plug the wire for the headlight and thats it.
Oh, you might want to remove any good useful parts from your old engine and sell them or keep for spares. Gas tank, carb, electric starter, recoil. (19redwings could use a good recoil starter).
