Craftsman Snowblower won't Start
I purchased a 9.5hp Craftsman snow blower with electric start last year and have only ran it 4-5 times. It sat all summer in my garage with a full tank of gas with gas conditioner in it.
When I first started it, it was running a bit rough so I took the carb apart and cleaned and check it. At that time I replaced the spark plug. I fully drained the tank and replaced it with fresh gas. I fired it up and it was running smooth, the way it should. After about 1 minute of idling it turned off as if I either pulled the safety or turned it off. I have since rechecked the carb, fuel line and spark with no problems and no issues with the gas getting to the carb. Anyone else have any ideas that could cause this problem?
Thanks

Ran for a minute and died. That is about how long it runs on the gas in the float bowl. Sounds like gas is not getting into the float bowl from the tank. Stupid question. Did you open the shut-off valve on the gas line? If so, you have a restriction between the gas tank & carb or the needle was installed wrong.

When you took the carb out and cleaned it, what was your procedure? Soaked in Carb cleaner for 2-3 hours, blew out the orifices, idle circuit and priming circuit with compressed air, replaced internal parts with a carb kit? Did you follow the turn and half out procedure on idle and high speed screws? Did you replace any parts in the carb?

I had the same problem. Turns out I didn't install the needle valve properly. Is the open end of the spring of the needle valve facing the choke end of the carb? And is the indented end of the bowl facing opposite to the needle valve?
