Tecumseh OH195SA-72571 Surge
Hello,
I've got a Sears Craftsman that is 1-season old (purchased Aug 2007). I went to start it and it has a significant surge at high speed. (I put some Stabil in it at the end of last season.)
I took the carb bowl off and made sure that the High Speed Bowl Nut holes were clear and reassembled. No change.
Thanks for any help!!

Does this particular carb have a removable emulsion tube? After taking the bowl off, I couldn't see a way to remove it.
Thanks for any help in getting the mechanical governor to quit surging.

I think you are referring to the main nozzle which is sometimes called an emulsion tube. Clean every hole, nook and cranny and behind welch plugs, if used.
