Racing Riding Mowers In Minnesota

AA bunch of us are going to begin racing mowers up here in Mn. Im very familiar with Kart racing & a buddy of mine told me to get an old snapper & turn the gears around in the rear and it will run a comfortable 50 m.p.h. I got the rear apart on one but cant see how this would work? Any truth to this or was he jerkin my recoil. Thanks yall

I think your buddy is mistaken. Even if the gear swap was possible, 50mph is suicide on a rear engine snapper.
